(A Two-day programme)

Conflict is a part of life. As with any aspect of business, conflict must be managed. Conflict can be a major source of stress and this programmed provides skills for preventing conflict when appropriate and defusing conflict in an appropriate manner.

  • Skills for preventing and defusing conflict in a group
  • Security and how to deal with a violent visitor/colleague
  • Consultation skills – a positive conflict resolution process
  • How to escape the WINNER/LOSER trap
  • Practical exercises to prepare for expected situations where conflict may be expected
  • A strategy to ensure that skills acquired during training are used consistently
